Who founded partneR/D?

partneR/D was founded by Regina and Damian, a married couple who spent their careers in corporate leadership before starting the company together. Their premise is that the corporate skills used to build high-performing teams translate directly to building a high-performing partnership. Regina and Damian spent decades climbing the corporate ladder, Regina in Human Resources, and Damian in Finance. They are taking what they learned about hiring top talent, coaching executives, and building teams and applying those same skills to help you find your next relationship - not your next date. Who is partneR/D for?

partneR/D is built for accomplished adults, generally ages 45+. We work with members across Arizona’s Northeast Valley including Cave Creek, Scottsdale, Carefree, Phoenix, Fountain Hills, and Paradise Valley, as well as members nationally. Membership is open to anyone who wants a real relationship - not just dates - regardless of gender or orientation.
Does partneR/D use AI or an algorithm to match people?

No. partneR/D does not use AI, an algorithm or software to generate matches. Every introduction is made by Regina and Damian who have met both members and assessed their compatibility.
How is partneR/D different from a dating app?

partneR/D replaces swiping with a matchmaker. Every introduction is chosen by Regina and Damian who have completed an in depth interview and personality assessment with all members. Matches are based on human judgment.
What are partneR/D’s membership tiers and pricing?

partneR/D offers three membership tiers. Foundation is $875 for a 12-month membership that includes an in depth interview with Regina and Damian, a background check, a personality assessment, a photo session, and a written profile, with ongoing consideration as new matches arise. Preferred is $17,500 for a 12-month active search that includes at least five qualified match presentations. Tailored is a fully customized membership starting at $35,000 that can include coaching, wardrobe consultation, a regional or national search, and additional match presentations.
Why does partneR/D charge for vetting?

As part of the selected membership tier, every member pays for the full vetting process before being introduced to anyone. Requiring payment works as a commitment signal: everyone in the matchmaking pool has already invested in being there, rather than browsing a free database with nothing at stake. It’s part of how partneR/D keeps membership serious rather than casual.
Why does partneR/D require a photo session?

Every member completes a photo session as part of the vetting process. This keeps every profile authentic and current, so introductions are based on an accurate picture of who someone is today rather than an old or filtered photo.
How does the vetting process work?

Vetting includes a background check, a home visit, an in-depth interview, the 16PF personality assessment, and a photo session. Regina and Damian use the results of each step to write the member’s profile and determine which introductions make sense.
Does partneR/D run background checks?

Yes. partneR/D runs a background check on every member as part of the vetting process, through a provider compliant with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the federal law that governs how background checks are conducted. Background checks include national, county and federal criminal search, address and SSN verification, global watchlists, employment and education verification, driving history, and bankruptcies, liens and judgements. All background checks require the member’s written consent before one is run.
Is vetting a guarantee of compatibility or safety?

No. Vetting combines a background check, a home visit, an in-depth interview, and a personality assessment, reflecting Regina and Damian’s professional judgment based on the information available. Background checks have real limitations, and partneR/D relies in part on each member’s honesty. Vetting is designed to reduce risk and support thoughtful introductions, but it is not a guarantee of compatibility, safety, or future conduct.
How does payment work?

Membership is paid in full at signing, by credit card or ACH.
How many introductions am I guaranteed?

The number of guaranteed match presentations depends on the tier. Foundation includes ongoing consideration as new matches arise, without a guaranteed number. Preferred guarantees at least five qualified match presentations over twelve months. Tailored match presentations are scoped individually based on the member’s customized plan. In every tier, the search ends as soon as a member enters a partnership; the guaranteed number is the maximum available.
How long does it take to get started with partneR/D?

Getting started typically takes about two to three weeks, most of which is background check processing time, and headshot scheduling and production. We like to begin with an introductory call where we can all decide if partneR/D is a fit for prospective members.
